Reincarnation and Karma
The majority of the people in the world believe in re-incarnation.
It is not new nor novel. Reincarnation is accepted by at least 2/3
of the world’s population. Religions that adhere to the principles
include Hinduism and Buddhism in the East.
Judaism at one time did as well - one only needs to look at the Kabbala -
the mystical part of Judaism. Christians at the time of Jesus believed in
reincarnation but references to it were later taken out of the Bible.
Christianity at one time also believed in re-incarnation.
Jesus being born a Jew, was born into an atmosphere where
it already existed and therefore did not need to teach re-incarnation
Around the year 600 A.D. a great schism in the Catholic Church brought
an end to the idea of re-incarnation.
It is basically only Westerners that do not subscribe to re-incarnation.
How Reincarnation Occurs
In the process of reincarnation, it is the Soul of a human which before
rebirth outlines the general plan of life
It decides what lessons are to be learned
what qualities strengthen
what weaknesses are to be overcome
what ideally should be accomplished in an upcoming incarnation
Fair and Just?
In the process of reincarnation, it is the Soul of a human which before
rebirth outlines the general plan of life
• It decides what lessons are to be learned
• What qualities strengthen
• What weaknesses are to be overcome
• What ideally should be accomplished in an upcoming incarnation
• Seemingly unequal, unfair conditions
• Myriad of conditions needed for growth
• All Life is Evolving into Something Greater!
• What we thought was true, will turn into being not true anymore
when seen from a higher perspective
We are all enrolled in the School of Life on Earth
Achieving human 'perfection' is our goal for graduation
(perfection is a relative term..)
With so much to learn in this vast school, it seems unlikely that a person
could master all the lessons and accomplishments in merely one lifetime.
All sets of circumstances are opportunities for us
The natural results of past living
Viewed as the stepping stones for our future growth
We weave our own destinies
Each incarnation is built upon the conditions of the past
So Why Don’t we Remember Past Lives?
If we were aware of all the details of our past incarnations, we would be
overwhelmed with all that he has experienced
the memories
the pain
the suffering
the anguish
The Path of Return
You are the inner nature, not the body. The body may have changed sex or changed coloration.
The soul has no nationality, no racial origin, no religion per se, has no sex.
The soul is an infinite energy of Life manifesting through a vehicle which has all those various labels.
Life is continuous.
Karma
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
The Law of Karma says that “whatsoever a man thinks, or feels or says or does
produces within that man’s life an effect in direct proportion with the thing
thought, said, felt and done.
We find in scriptures of the world reference to this idea over and over again.
For every effect, there must be a cause and for every cause there is an effect
In the Bible we read:
“Whatsoever thou sowest, that also shall yea reap” - that’s karma
“He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword” - that’s karma
“As a man thinketh in his heart so he is” - that’s karma
“As thou believest, so shall it be done unto you” - that’s karma
“An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” – that’s karma
The causes my actions now are dictating
the effects of my tomorrow
- New Karma
Those seeds or causes which are being produced in this life, and which must inevitably govern the circumstances of some future life
• Karma does not punish
• Karma, as is the case with all of the laws of nature is totally indifferent
• It is not good nor is it bad
• It is not punishing nor is it rewarding
• It is merely fulfilling
• All of the energies within the natural order of things, bar none, are totally impersonal
Karma like the other energies in nature is merely fulfilling in order to re-store the balance in nature

More Service Oriented

We have a responsibility beyond our individual karma to help with group karma as well
